About Colleen Kennedy

Colleen Kennedy and her husband Jim began attending SCBC in 1990 and almost immediately began serving in Children's ministries. They enjoy serving as a team in whatever ministry they are involved with.

Jim and Colleen have been married 26 years and have twin children, Bud and Laurie. The family enjoys dirt bikes and are part of a Christian dirt bike club, Racers Under the Son

Colleen has been on staff at Santa Cruz Bible since 2004. Prior to that, she was an elementary school librarian for over 15 years. When the opportunity was presented to become part of such a fantastic and fun staff, Colleen couldn't pass it up.

Vacation Bible Camp is one of Colleen's passions, where she has been the director for the past few years. She says it is a joy to see everything come together after months of preparation, with hundreds of children blessed each summer at VBC.

Of the abundant blessings received by participating in children's ministry, Jim and Colleen say one of the best is the lifelong friendships they have developed over the years. They encourage you to become involved and see how the Lord will bless you!
