Jim Seybert

About Jim Seybert

Jim attended public schools in Ohio until 1945. He then served as a B17 and B29 waist gunner in the Air Corps. After his service to our country he attended San Francisco State College with a major in history from 1949-52. He later attended San Francisco Baptist College majoring in history and music 1951-53.

Jim has served as Minister of music in several churches from 1960-1991. He started attending SCBC in 1991 and came on staff as Pastor of Care Ministries in 1999.

Jim now oversees our visitation programs, the seniors and our Adult Christian Education. He has been married to his wife Arleen for 51 years and they have three children.
