women's Ministries	- Fall 2009

Women's Ministry at Santa Cruz Bible Church offers a rich environment for women to grow in Christ. Below are some of the opportunities we have for you to grow in God's Word, meet new women and enjoy God's journey for you as a woman.

Saturday Morning Coffee Talk

Ever been surprised by life? Most all of us have "High Hopes" for what life is going to bring us.  Unfortunately, many times it does not turn out exactly like we expected.  Join us for our first coffee talk on Saturday morning Sept 26th from 9:30-11:30am where we will hear a message of "High Hopes" by Patty Michelson. Whether you are new to SCBC or have been coming for years you won't want to miss out on this morning of fun surprises, encouraging message, and getting to know other women.  A continental breakfast will be served. Tickets are available for $5.  For more information stop by the women's ministry table on Sunday mornings or call the church office.

Thursday Morning Bible Studies

Bible studies and small group opportunities begin Thursday September 17.Childcare provided. Sign up in the church lobby Sunday mornings through Sept 13, or in the church office during office hours. the studies offered this fall are:

1 & 2 Thessalonians - Study by Kay Arthur

A chapter-by-chapter survey through Thessalonians. If you long to stand firm in  your faith through difficult times...if you desire to become a person whose faith is worthy of imitation...this study will start you on your way! Featuring prayer time, workbook study, small group discussion and live teaching, 20-30 minutes/day. Cost $15

Esther - Study by Beth Moore

If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed over-powering, this is the study for you. Featuring workbook study, video teaching, small group discussion and prayer time, 20-25 min/day. Cost $20

Thursday Evening Study

The Beth Moore Esther study is also available on Thursday evenings here at Santa Cruz Bible Chruch. This will be from 7-9pm, and will run through November 19. Childcare is not provided.
